Rebecca and her family were one of my first clients, and I have loved the opportunity to work with them over the years. It's rare in photography, I think, to be able to come back and work with a family on repeat occasions. But, let me tell you, it is so wonderful. And this family, particularly, is amazing. Every time I work with them, I am overwhelmed with the love and intentionality they show for one another. There aren't many words to describe it.
So, when Rebecca asked me to photograph her son's, Akiva Mendel, bris, the answer was an obvious yes. Because of the timing of my own schedule alongside the timing of Akvia's arrival, there was a small chance I would not be able to make the ceremony. But Akiva graciously timed it so that I could take part. And I am so thankful. What a beautiful ceremony with a beautiful family. There weren't many dry eyes in the room. Seriously, y'all. I need to figure out how to stop crying during these things - it makes focusing much more difficult!
Rebecca, Jacob, and kiddos - thank you so much for letting me participate in such a joyous and intimate time. I am grateful and honored for your continued belief in my work.
